After providing Hammer Horror Films with its highest-ever opening The Woman in Black (which has raked in over $112M worldwide so far) far exceeded the expectations of many onlookers, and has just had a sequel; titled The Woman in Black: Angels of Death; officially greenlit.
Set in the same creepy house as the first movie the sequel will take place 40 years on; when a new couple moves into the old house only to find themselves experiencing all sorts of strange and ghostly phenomenon. Newcomer Jon Croker will be writing the script that Hammer CEO Simon Oakes calls “a wonderful new tale” and insists is “every bit as atmospheric and terrifying as its predecessor”, but is yet to have an official release date announced.
