The Warner Bros./DC Comics special event may have been [almost] all about Suicide Squad (see the brand new, and undeniably cool, trailer here), we were also treated to the first official Wonder Woman footage; which you can now see below.
With Patty Jenkins (Monster) holding the megaphone, and Gal Gadot reprising the titular role we’ll first see her inhabit with the release of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman will see Diana (WW) meeting US air intelligence officer Steve Trevor (Chris Pine, Star Trek), and embarking upon the path which will eventually lead to her becoming not only a member of The Justice League, but one of Earth’s greatest heroes in her own right.
Co-starring Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Robin Wright (Everest), and David Thewlis (War Horse) Wonder Woman is due to be released on June 23rd 2017 in the US, though as of yet there’s no officially confirmed UK release date.
