Coming from In Bruges writer/director Martin McDonagh, Seven Psychopaths (the upcoming dark-comedy/drama) has just added a trio of names to its already very impressive cast-list; Zombieland‘s Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits (who has soundtrack credits on Fight Club), and Quantum of Solace‘s Olga Kurylenko.
Harrelson is set to appear in a role which was originally pegged for The Wrestler‘s Mickey Rourke, and will star as a gangster who has his beloved Shih Tzu stolen by an inspiration-lacking scriptwriter (Colin Farrell, In Bruges), and two of his best mates (due to be played by Moon‘s Sam Rockwell, and Pulp Fiction‘s Christopher Walken).
So far there’s no word on who either Waits or Kurylenko will play, or an official release date for the film (though it’s definitely expected to touch down next year), but judging by the talent it’s attracting, and Martin’s last effort, Seven Psychopaths should be one to watch.
