Despite the lack of enthusiasm for Louis Leterrier’s 2010 Clash of the Titans remake (now remembered as the epitome of a badly rushed post-production 3D conversion), there’s no denying that it still pulled in a decent crowd at the Box Office (taking just shy of $500m worldwide), and so a sequel was always on the cards; a sequel which recently had its latest trailer, and new posters, released online (now available to view below).
Battle: Los Angeles director Jonathan Liebesman has stepped behind the camera to direct the new Titans movie; titled Wrath of the Titans; which once agin sees the demi-God Perseus (played by a returning Sam Worthington) battling all sorts of mythical nasties in order to save his father Zeus (played by a returning Liam Neeson) from a plot enacted by his brother Hades (once again played by Ralph Fiennes), in the film that co-stars Rosamund Pike (Johnny English Reborn), Bill Nighy (Shaun of the Dead), and Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), was thankfully shot in 3D this time, and is due to be released on March 30th in both the US and UK.
