Coming from the studio that gave you Jet Li’s Warlord’s Young Bruce Lee tells the true story of the early years of a man whose well known as the greatest martial artist ever to have lived, a man known to thousands of adoring fans as the Little Dragon, and a man who unfortunately passed away on the eve of achieving super-stardom; non other than Bruce Lee.
Clearly handled with a great deal of care and respect, Young Bruce Lee was produced by Lee’s younger brother Robert Lee (who obviously added a great deal to the film from his first hand experience), chronicles the life of Bruce from his birth in November 1940, right through until his departure for San Francisco in 1959 (showcasing how he lived through World War II, and survived the brutal street gangs that littered the Hong Kong Streets of his youth), and serves as a brilliant homage to the man who introduced the world to the power and majesty of Chinese Kung Fu.
Young Bruce Lee is available to buy on Blu-ray and 2 disc DVD from 30th May, and stars Aarif Rahman as Bruce Lee, Tony Leung as Lee Hoi-Chuen, and Christy Chung as Grace Lee.
