With all of the original cast returning for the upcoming American Pie sequel; American Reunion (the fourth proper sequel in thefranchise; which has limped on with a number of naff, direct-to-DVD, follow-ons since the release of American Wedding); it appears as if the raunchy teenage humour has remained fully intact for their next outing, if the newly released official trailer (now available to view below) is any way to judge.
While the plot, and the majority of the cast, are completely absent from the trailer, it still manages to provide a couple of decent laughs showing that, despite remaining seemingly happily married to Michelle (Alyson Hannigan), Jim (Jason Biggs) is still up to his old tricks, and is still rather unlucky in the bedroom.
Seann William Scott, Natasha Lyonne, Mena Suvari, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Eddie Kaye Thomas, and of course Eugene Levy, are all reprising their former roles for the upcoming reunion (which shockingly revolves around a high-school reunion), which is apparently being released as American Pie: Reunion in the UK (as opposed to the simpler US title American Reunion), and is due to be released on April 6th 2012 in both the US and UK.
