Cameron Diaz Knows What to Expect When You’re Expecting

It seems like everyone who’s anyone that’s had a child, or is planning on giving birth soon, has read Heidi Murkoff’s baby bestseller; What to Expect When You’re Expecting (a handy guide to pregnancy); so it’s no surprise that Lionsgate are turning the expectant mothers go-to-tome into a romantic comedy, possibly starring Cameron Diaz (last seen in The Green Hornet).

Diaz is in finals talks to appear in the movie (as the host of a weight-loss fitness show); which has been written by Whip-It’s Shauna Cross, and will focus on the lives of four different sets of parents-to-be (unlike the seven it was originally intended to follow); and is due to be directed by Waking Ned Devine’s Kirk Jones, when it’s released on an as yet unknown date.
