Clive Owen Goes Anon

Trust star Clive Owen recently joined Luc Besson’s upcoming sci-fi movie Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets, and has just added another sci-fi pic to his roster; the Andrew Niccol directed Anon.

Good Kill director Andrew Niccol will be using Anon to step back into the world of sci-fi (having previously directed Gattaca, The Host, and In Time), and showcase a film about a futuristic detective (Owen) working in a world with no privacy, ignorance, or anonymity – a clear 1984 type terror of a society.

Owen’s detective character will be investigating a woman who apparently doesn’t exist, and begin to question the morality of the transparent society in which he dwells, when filming begins later this year.
