Currently known as the next Wonder Woman (due to appear in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice), Gal Gadot has just signed on to star in the upcoming thriller Criminal; starring Kevin Costner.
Recently seen in Man Of Steel (playing Jonathan Kent), but best known as Robin Hood, Costner’s recent roles have involved a few action/thrillers (such as Jack Ryan, and 3 Days To Kill), and Criminal looks to continue the trend; with Kev starring as a criminal who chooses to undergo an experimental procedure, inserting the memories and abilities of a murdered CIA agent into his mind, rather than facing life in prison.
Obviously everything won’t go according to plan, but with an intriguing concept, and a cast which now not only includes Costner and Gadot, but Ryan Reynolds (Safe House), Tommy Lee Jones (Men In Black), and Gary Oldman (RoboCop), the Avi Lerner (Expendables) produced, Ariel Vroman (The Iceman) directed Criminal could be one to watch when it begins filming shortly.
