While the last film from Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh (Contagion) showed the masses a fearfully realistic depiction of a lethal virus outbreak, his next movie was simply designed around watching MMA star Gina Carano kick some ass, and judging by the latest trailer for Haywire (now available to view below), she’s more than up to the task.
Following a betrayed CIA-trained assassin named Mallory Kane (Carano) who’s out for revenge after her bosses try to have her killed, Haywire co-stars Bill Paxton (Twister), Antonio Banderas (Puss in Boots), Michael Douglas (Wall Street), Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First class), Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting), and Channing Tatum (Fighting), and is due to be released on January 20th in both the US and UK.
