Coming from the man who gave the world Inception, and The Dark Knight Trilogy, Interstellar is the latest sci-fi movie from director Christopher Nolan and, courtesy of the movie’s brand new website (should you go there, the ‘access code’ you’ll need is the date of the first lunar landing – 7201969), has just has a brand new trailer released online.
Set in a future where the Earth is running painfully low on resources, Interstellar sees a visionary scientist (played by Harry Brown’s Michael Caine) devise a plan to send a crew into space, through a newly discovered wormhole, in order to travel beyond our solar system in search of other potentially habitable worlds which could eventually provide the people of Earth with their salvation.
Dallas Buyers Club’s Matthew McConaughey headlines the cast as a pilot/engineer who forms part of the crew, and will be joined by Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises), Casey Affleck (Out Of The Furnace), Jessica Chastain (Lawless), Topher Grace (Predators), Wes Bentley (The Hunger Games), John Lithgow (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), and David Oyelowo (Red Tails) when Interstellar is released on November 7th in both the US and UK.
