Jack Reacher Trailer

Adapted from the Lee Child novel One Shot (which, at one point, was the title of the film), Jack Reacher will star Tom Cruise (Mission: Impossible) as the former MP (military police officer, not member of parliament) come lawman-for-hire, and, following on from the recent release of the film’s first image, has just had its first trailer released online (now available to view below).

Reacher will spend the Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects) directed movie investigating the case of a sniper attack in a US city, which has led for the victim to call upon his services, yet quickly discovers that despite the apparent open-and-shut nature of the case, all is not as it seems.

Co-starring Rosamund Pike (Surrogates), Robert Duvall (The Godfather), Richard Jenkins (Let Me In), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and David Oyelowo (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Jack Reacher is due to be released on December 21st in the US, before making its official UK release date on December 28th.
