If the movie itself is as funny as the short promotional video (available to view below); which manages to rip-into everything from grandmas and Asians, to the Spanish, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Green Lantern, and more; there’s no denying that audiences will love The Change-Up; a body-swap comedy starring Jason Bateman (The Switch) and Ryan Reynolds (The Green Lantern).
Traditionally a very popular concept (as seen in Big, Freaky Friday, and 13 Going on 30), the body-swap comedy will be taken to new heights in The Change-Up, which features a famil-man (Bateman) switching bodies with his single friend (Reynolds), and moves away from the usually child-friendly concept, to incorporate a whole host of clearly adult jokes (as seen in this trailer).
Co-starring Leslie Mann (The 40-Year-Old Virgin), Olivia Wilde (Tron: Legacy), and Alan Arkin (Get Smart), the David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) directed comedy is due to be released this coming Friday (August 5th) in the US, and will hit UK cinema screens on September 16th.
