Whilst fans may be desperate for the release of Blade Runner 2, or intrigued by the prospect of a Prometheus sequel, director Ridley Scott will first be releasing his Biblical epic Exodus: Gods & Kings, and you can now see the latest Exodus: Gods & Kings images below (following their debut on Empire, promoting the latest issue of their magazine; which contains a more in depth report of the film).
While the new images offer little more than the trailer we saw last month, they’re nevertheless an extra glimpse into Scott’s new take on the classic Moses tale; here placing Moses as an Egyptian general, before he eventually falls out of favour with the Pharaoh and, with the help of God, begins to lead his people to freedom.
Starring former Batman Christian Bale (recently seen in Out of the Furnace) as Moses, and Warrior’s Joel Edgerton as Ramses, Exodus: Gods & Kings co-stars Sigourney Weaver (Alien), Aaron Paul (Kick-Ass), and Ben Kingsley (Iron Man 3), and is due to be released on December 12h in the US, before making its official UK release date on Boxing Day (December 26th).
