Mickey Rourke Joins Java Heat

Written by Conor Allyn and his father Rob (Hearts of Freedom), the upcoming indie thriller Java Heat follows a mysterious American with anti-Islamic tendencies teaming up with a Muslim cop in order to catch a group of jewel theives/terrorists in Southeast Asia, and has just added The Wrestler’s Mickey Rourke to its cast list.

Rourke has signed on to play one of the jewel thieves; the man behind the terrorist’s plans; in the Conor Allyn directed film that’s also due to star Christian Bale (The Dark Knight), Kevin Spacey (American Beauty), and Kellan Lutz (Twilight), and has already entered production.
