The greatest action ensemble of all time was assembled back in 2010 for the release of the old-school action movie The Expendables, but now the upcoming sequel has not only topped the impressive cast-list, but also looks to be upping the ante in terms of old-school action, impressive set-pieces, one-liners, and perhaps most importantly… explosions; all of which are evident in the new Expendables 2 trailer (now available to view below, followed by a photo of stars Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bruce Willis, and firing guns together!).
Not only starring the trio of action legends mentioned above, but returning stars Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, and Terry Crews, alongside Chuck Norris (Delta Force), Jean Claude Van Damme (Timecop), and Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games), Expendables 2 has been directed by Simon West (The Mechanic), will receive an R-rating, and is due to be released on August 17th in both the US and UK.
