Yes there are only so many trailers, and so many bits of spectacular, trailer-worthy, footage that can be release before a film inevitably hits its theatrical release date, but 20th Century Fox have just released another trailer for X-Men: First Class (which can now be seen below); the Matthew vaughn (Kick-Ass) directed X-Men prequel; which is packed full of new, and amazing footage that clearly sets the tone of the film.
Starring James McAvoy (Wanted) as Professor Charles Xavier (the role previously portrayed by Patrick Stewart in the X-Men trilogy), and Michael Fassbender (Inglorious Basterds) as Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (previously portrayed by Ian McKellen) as two mutant friends who eventually become enemies due to their conflicting ideas regarding inter-species relations; First Class is set during the height of the Cold War, and showcases how global events may have been shifted with a little mutant involvement, and the breakdown of relations between the do-gooder Professor X, and the bitter Magneto.
X-Men: First Class is due to be released in the UK on June 2nd, before getting its US release on June 3rd.
