Directed by David Koepp (Stir of Echoes), from a script written by him and John Kamps (Ghost Town), Premium Rush stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception); as a New York City bike messenger with a rather interesting delivery; and has just had its first trailer released online (now available to view below).
Wilee (Gordon-Levitt); the no-brake-having messenger; will spend the movie getting into his fair share of scrapes and chases as he’s pursued by a crooked cop (Michael Shannon; who many know best as playing a rather creepy cop in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire) who wants Wilee’s rather special package (as do a number of criminals), and will be trying his best to get his hands on it when Premium Rush; which also stars Jamie Chung (The Hangover 2) and Dania Ramirez (X-Men: The Last Stand); hits cinemas on January 13th in the US, or February 3rd in the UK.
