Jem and the Holograms, the upcoming fantasy-musical directed by Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), has got its second trailer.
Based on the 1980s television series, the film follows Jem and her band as they are catapulted into global stardom. Aubrey Peebles (Sharknado) stars as Jem, with Stefanie Scott (Wreck-It Ralph), Hayley Kiyoko (Insidious: Chapter 3) and Aurora Perrineau (A House is Not a Home) serving as her bandmates. Also starring in supporting roles are Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers), Ryan Guzman (Step Up Revolution) and Molly Ringwald (The Breakfast Club).
Jem and the Holograms will see an October 23 release date in the US, and will arrive in the UK on December 26.
