Now filming under the title Diana (which works much better than its former name; Caught in Flight), the upcoming Princess Diana biopic will follow The People’s Princess during the last few years of her life, and see Naomi Watts (The Ring) taking on the coveted role; as seen in the film’s first official picture, which is now available to view below.
Directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel (Downfall), Diana has been scripted by Stephen Jeffreys (The Libertine), will find Lost star Naveen Andrews starring as Diana’s lover Dr Hasnat Khan, and see the Princess struggling to live a private life in the eye of the world’s media, and still engaging in a large amount of charity work, when it’s released on an as yet unannounced date.
