While it may start off looking like a feel-good family animation film, Seth Rogen’s Sausage Party is anything but child-friendly; as the newly released Sausage Party Red Band trailer will show below.
Rogen; filling the roles of writer, director, and actor here; will be re-teaming with a number of his regular cohorts (friends seen in films such as Pineapple Express and This Is The End) to fill the voices of the food-filled film which sees food items desperate to leave the confines of the supermarket and head home with us humans, until they discover the horrifying truth about what really happens in the home.
Co-written by Evan Goldberg and Kyle Hunter, and featuring the voice talents of Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids), Jonah Hill (Superbad), Michael Cera (Superbad), James Franco (Pineapple Express), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), and Edward Norton (Fight Club), Sausage Party will be released on August 12th.
