Like a covert ex-spy coming out of retirement for one last adventure, BBC TV drama Spooks will soon be making a comeback with its first big screen outing; the upcoming action/thriller Spooks: The Greater Good, the new trailer for which can be seen below.
With Peter Firth reprising his role as MI5 legend Harry Pearce, The Greater Good will see the Spooks team once again attempting to foil a terrorist plot, and place Game Of Thrones’ Kit Harrington at the forefront of events as newcomer Will Holloway.
Co-starring Elyes Gabel (World War Z), Tuppence Middleton (The Imitation Game), Tim McInnerny (Blackadder), Jennifer Ehle (The King’s Speech), and Lara Pulver (Edge of Tomorrow), Spooks: The Greater Good has been directed by Bharat Malluri (the same man who directed the show’s pilot episode back in 2002), and is due to be released on May 8th in the UK (no other dates have been confirmed as yet).
