The Hangover Part II: Trailer

Easily the funniest comedy of 2009, The Hangover was a breakaway hit that propelled it’s stars into the limelight, and gave masses of comedy fans huge laughs with it’s crazy bachelor party antics; that involved losing the groom, stealing Mike Tyson’s tiger, and drunken dentistry; and now the lads are back in The Hangover Part II; which has just received it’s first official trailer.

Zach Galifianakis (Due Date), Bradley Cooper (The A-Team), and Ed Helms (known for the U.S. version of The Office) will be reprising their roles as Alan, Phil, and Stu, respectively; in the new film that sees the gang, complete with the last film’s groom Doug (Justin Bartha, The Rebound), traveling to Bangkok for Stu’s wedding, and once again getting into a number of hilarious alcohol fueled capers.

Whilst the newly released trailer (which can be seen below) doesn’t explain much of the plot, or showcase anything that hasn’t been seen in previously released pictures; preferring to rely on pumping up the glowing reception of the first film, and giving a quick shot of the three best friends that made up Alan’s Wolfpack for the majority of the first movie; it does give fans a chance to see a newly trashed hotel room, and hints at some of the antics the lads get up to; including shaving Alan’s head, getting involved with a monkey, and one of the guys getting a Mike Tyson style face tattoo.

Tyson will also be reappearing as himself in the sequel, along with former U.S. President Bill Clinton, and a host of guest stars that include Liam Neeson (Chloe); in a cameo as an intense tattoo artist formerly intended to be portrayed by Mad Max’s Mel Gibson; Jamie Chung (Suckerpunch); as Stu’s fiancee; Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers), director Todd Phillips (The Hangover), and Ken Jeong (reprising his role from The Hangover; as Asian gangster Mr. Chow).

Promising just as many laughs as the first movie, The Hangover Part II is due to be released on May 26th in the U.S. (which happens to be Memorial Day), and the following day (May 27th) in the U.K.
