Moving on from the likes of Dumb and Dumber, There’s Something About Mary, and the more recent Hall Pass, the next project from The Farrelly Brothers (Peter and Bobby Farrelly) will see them crafting a big screen version of one of the best known and most loved comedies of all time, The Three Stooges; which has just had its first teaser poster released online (now available to view below).
While you can’t really tell from the poster (which simply features a silhouette of The Three Stooges; Larry, Curly, and Moe; the film’s tagline; ‘Just Say Moe’; and an intentionally cropped 20th Century Fox logo), Sean Hayes (Will and Grace), Will Sasso (MADtv), and Chris Diamantopoulos (Under New Management) star as Larry, Curly, and Moe respectively, in the comedy which will see the trio attempting to save their childhood home whilst also becoming accidentally involved in a murder plot, and ending up as the stars of a reality TV show.
Jane Lynch (Glee), Jennifer Hudson (Sex and the City), Sophia Vergara (Modern Family), Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Craig Bierko (Cinderella Man), Lin Shaye (Kingpin), and Stephen Collins (Blood Diamond) also star in the movie which is due to be released on April 4th in the US, and will presumably receive a UK release date shortly thereafter.
