Date Night: Deleted Scene

0

Date Night; the hilarious comedy starring Steve Carell (The 40-Year-Old Virgin), and Tina Fey (30 Rock); was released on Blu-ray and DVD this Monday (September 13th), and follows an average married couple, who attempt to break up the monotony and predictability of their everyday lives by making their next Date Night, one to remember.

And it’s one night that the couple certainly aren’t likely to forget; as after taking another couple’s reservation at a fancy restaurant, they get mistaken for some small-time criminals, and end up in a whirlwind of deceit and corruption that leads to them breaking and entering more than once, getting shot at, being involved in a high-speed car chase, pole dancing, and mixing with a whole host of celebrity guest stars, all with hilarious consequences.

To celebrate the release of the film, we have acquired a deleted scene from the movie (which can be viewed by clicking the link at the bottom of the page), that isn’t included in the DVD special features, and may not be the funniest clip, but does give a little more depth to the relationship between Steve and Tina’s characters.

The deleted scene; which involves the couple accidentally stumbling across the first apartment they shared together, and reminiscing over times gone by; can be viewed by clicking here.
