Days after Deadline reported the upcoming Meghan Markle animated series Pearl had been officially cancelled by Netflix (along with a number of planned animated shows), the streaming giant is keen to showcase it’s upcoming selection of kids’ animated series, and has just released a number of new photos along with the brand new preview above.
Alongside returning favourites such as The Cuphead Show!, Jurassic World, He-Man and the Master of the Universe, and more, Netflix will also be bringing a number of new animated shows to its selection of kids’ and family friendly content; including Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, and Sonic Prime.
Jack Black returns to voice Po in the new Kung Fu Panda animated series; a globe-trotting adventure which sees the beloved panda teaming up with an English knight on a quest to track down some magical weapons and save the world. While the new Sonic series (which will undoubtedly hope to cash in on the success of the Hedgehog’s recent big screen outings), is billed as as 24-episode adventure of self-discovery and redemption, aimed at kids, families, and long-time fans of SEGA’s speedy mascot.
Other upcoming shows include Daniel Spellbound, We Lost Our Human, Dead End: Paranormal Park, and My Dad the Bounty Hunter, and while premiere dates for many haven’t been announced as yet, you can see some of the first images for the new Netflix series’ below.
